This PSX is running the latest 1.31 firmware

This PSX has a working 160GB hard drive 

The DVD burner laser doesn't read DVD's or CD's which means the only way you can play disc based games is to use a FreeMcBoot memory card. This works by booting the system into PS2 mode so discs can be read by the PS2 laser. It's recommended to use a FMCB card with these units as it reduces wear on the hard drive. 

The CR2032 battery has been replaced with a new one

Laser heads have been cleaned and rails greased

Power supply caps have been checked and are fine

Hard drive doesn't make any unhealthy noises

This PSX has suffered a small amount of corrosion on the main metal frame & disc ejector frame. 
I have cleaned up what I can but the price is reduced due to this.

There is absolutely zero corrosion on any of the boards or workings of the machine and it is in fully working condition other than the common DVD laser issue.

One of the plastic hinges for the front cover has a tiny piece broken but still attached, this doesn't stop the cover from staying closed but it needs a little help closing.

You'll need a stepdown converter to use this item as it's designed for the 100v system in Japan, these converters are easily found online. Please contact me if you need a recommendation.
