Circa 1920's leather covered Pocket Day by Day Diary.  Looks like it belonged to Herbert Thayer, used Billboard Magazine as his mailing address, which was something they offered to traveling entertainers.  Not sure if he was an actor, singer or what, back of book has lists of songs. Book is mostly towns he was working, most in the west.  Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California, some in Texas.  Most quite small towns, like Bonners Ferry ID, Pasco WA, Libby MT,  theaters listed include the Hippodrome in Seattle and Avalon Theater in Spokane.  Notes of tent blowing down which makes sense for the small towns. Not much personal info, mostly a schedule of towns.  Much wear and losses to cover, missing part of spine, age toning, couple loose pages 3"x 5" x 1/2".
