Antique solid oak Ship's marine barometer made by J H Steward of London.c.1885. Porcelain dial with coloured lettering and weather predictions. Bears the maker's name to the base. Brass bezel surround with thick bevelled edge glass and centre reading marker pointer. Rope twist carved surround in solid oak. Brass hanging mount to the top. Superb colour and polish. Cleaned, serviced and tested. Measures 7.5" diameter x 2.5" deep x 8" high including hanging mount.
