This true to size badge is based on the ones used in the late 1800’s. It was used on Australian police hats, kepi’s or soft caps and helmets. These were used during the bush ranger days across Australia. The hat photo is Sergeant Michael Kennedy’s hat who was murdered by Ned Kelly and his gang.
