This is a beautiful French resin washed over-dyed Bakelite early plastic Egyptian Revival lotus flower belt buckle. This is believed to be from the early 20th century - c. 1930s. This exquisitely detailed vintage early 20th century circa 1930s Egyptian revival resin washed over-dyed Bakelite Egyptian revival resin washed over-dyed Bakelite Egyptian Lotus belt buckle measures approximately 5 3/8” x 2”. Will accommodate a belt up to 1 1/4” wide. Excellent overall vintage condition. The belt buckle appears to have never been worn. It has an approximate gram weight of 43.35 grams. The belt buckle is not marked but did have a paper tag marked “Made in France” that has been misplaced. The is superb early Bakelite. It is prettier in person than in the photos!
