A superb brooch dating to the late Victorian period, consisting of a silver sprig of strawberry leaves, with a single flower and an enamel strawberry mounted below. Wonderfully modelled cast silver in a naturalistic style with the enamelling being of very fine quality, the strawberry is fully in the round, with the detail as realistic at the back of the brooch as at the front.  A gorgeous thing,  absolutely full of personality, with the enamel strawberry looking good enough to eat.
