I have owned this AR turntable since new (1980s). It is a remarkable survivor! Many reviews praise this and whilst the rest of my hifi has changed many times this has been a constant.

The Perspex lid is as close to perfect in condition as you are likely to find as indeed is the plinth. in the photo the marks are smears not scratches!

It is fitted with a Linn LVX arm and a recent audio-technica AR120Eb mm cartridge (cost £109.99) that has had very little use.

It is all in good working order - plug and play!

Sadly, the box has not survived so this really must be a pickup from Penarth, South Wales.  I do travel down to Cornwall and Wiltshire and potentially could provide a meet-up, but this would have to be agreed before purchase.

The original box stored the platter and the lid separately from the turntable plinth and I don’t want to attempt a bodge packing it is too good for that!
