Antique Vintage Original Wood Hand Etched Wood Block Print Carving Portrait

An interesting old bit of art.

I am unsure if it is designed to ink and print the design on paper or if it is to be enjoyed as it is here.

A woman is excitedly presenting her profile with a slightly upturned head and hair big and done up with a flower She has a sorta lace choker around her neck.

The border of this portrait has been painstakingly filled in with leaves and flowers and irregular groves to add dimension in-between. 

Charming craftsmanship

There are scratches and some cracks in areas pictured. Surface dirt, dust. As found.
