I had this support made by an expert artisan, completely hand crafted in aeronautical aluminium and then painted black by cataphoresis, in the same process as the cars.
This support was designed to held any tele photo lenses, as well as spotting scopes, and the camera can be shot either from the camera or from the button attached to the support, which has a universal electronic plug.
The tele or camera can be attached to the quick release genuine Manfrotto plate -not a Chinese copy- fitted on the top of the support.
It worked very well, even better than expected, but after having it made, I stopped using tele lenses anymore, and the support remained just kept it in a cupboard. I think it was used only once or twice, no more times.
