This is an 1851 Braided Hair Large Cent. It was turned into a brooch. The actual pin is gone but the rest of the gold mount remains. I’m not sure of what karat the gold is but suspect either 9 or 10 karat. This coin is exactly as pictured. Please grade for yourself as everyone grades a little differently. Thanks for looking!
