A Vintage Turf ( possibly Peat) Shovel from the Early 20th Century.

Made by C T Skelton & Co of Sheffield  as seen in a makers mark on the shank.

(1855 to 1962).

A fantastic heart shaped blade with a strong Hobbiton Vibe. It would very much suit set dressing or prop purposes.

In excellent condition for it's age.

Oak handle and bkackened steel blade.

93cm tall.

Blade is 37cm wide by 37cm tall.
