This auction is for a BDV postcard sized silk cigarette card of the pictured design of a flag of the United States of America (with 48 stars on the flag).  I am given to understand that this is from the 1930's and measures approximately 163mm wide x 111mm high.

The silk is generally in good condition with some fraying on the left hand edge (as you look at it).  There is also some more noticeable fraying in the top right hand corner and minor fraying down the right hand side of the card.  There is some discoloration on the front of the silk near the bottom right hand corner of the flag and also some marks where it has been stored folded in the past.  In addition to this, there is some discoloration on the back of the silk but this does not show through to the front.
