Maker: This wonderful pair of fine porcelain green trimmed cream soup bowls was produced by Eschenbach of Bavaria, Germany.

A green Eschenbach white ware mark and a black Baronet decorator's mark appear on the reverse of each bowl.

Eschenbach's production of fine porcelain began in 1929, with the first mark bearing the Eschenbach name appearing in 1930. Many of the company's records were lost in the aftermath of World War 2 and the dates of the marks on these bowls is uncertain. They are likely to be from before the war but that is not confirmed.

Design: The beautiful pattern - called Minerva Rose - features a soft green trim with gold buds and green leaves.

Size: The bowls are 5 5/8 inches wide and 1 7/8 inches tall. Together they weigh 8.8 ounces.

Condition: They are in excellent condition with no cracks, marks, chips, nicks, stains, repairs, discoloration or significant wear.

Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
