Benham unaddressed first day cover with full set of four commemorative ‘Sir Isaac Newton’ stamps which were issued on March 24, 1987, the 300th Anniversary Of The Principal Mathematica by Sir Isaac Newton.

Grantham is where Isaac Newton lodged while at school and there is a blue plaque here to celebrate the fact inside The George shopping centre. He was born the heir to the manor at Woolsthorpe

Information card enclosed about Sir Isaac Newton. He is remembered for many discoveries including gravity and the theory of the world, calculus, the properties of light, of all which were written n his book ‘Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica’ published in 1687.

This card also shows the words on his tomb in Westminster Abbey.
