ELEGANT VINTAGE 8 DAY BRASS & GLASS SWISS ACG CARRIAGE MANTEL CLOCK-GWO

Standing 6 inches high (carry handle raised), 3 inches wide and just 2 1/2 inches deep, this lovely 8 day carriage clock won't steal your space but will form a perfect focal point to any room or office. With damage free bevelled glass to 5 sides, allows sight of the quality movement as it does its work of splitting minutes in to seconds.

To the front the white enamelled dial is perfect, clear and crisp. It carries the name of "Alan Townsend, Wakefield", who as jewellers, would have been the retailers. Fine, strong steel hands complete a handsome face.

To the rear is access to the movement for winding and setting the time. The movement is stamped with the makers mark of ACG, and is complete with its original double ended key.

I would guess the clock dates to around the 1960/70s. It is in lovely, vintage condition and fully working, keeping good time.

Style and elegance never goes out of fashion...here's the proof.
