An amazing portrait Tapestry done in petit point of two brothers from the Devonshire and Wiltshire Regiments in ww1, cica 1917 in original period frame and glass

There has been after over 100 years some fading, but it still makes for an impressive statement display.

Sadly I am having to passing new custodians as I have run out of space in my walls after redecoration!

It us very large, measuring 34x19 inches...87cm x 49cm

Neither of these chaps are from "my" regiment, and were bought to "save" them for remembrance.  They stayed on my wall for about 5 years, but needs necessitated a re org, and sadly, my regimental collection had grown, and these x2 lads need a new home.

I would suggest pick up only as it weighs a ton. The glass appears original and has not been replaced, andneither have I opened up the back, in a spurious search for "white fivers!!!"

If you opt for postage, pse contact and I will attempt to work out a price, this will be at own risk despite my excellent packing methods....I doubt any carrier could keep it in one piece!

Saldy I post to the UK only. I reserve the right to cancel any orders from outside the UK where the winning bidder has not contacted me.

My new lower score has been induced by an individual who didn't read the description, had it sent to a hub of some sorts, for out of UK destination,  and then left a pants review, which was removed by ebay.

Sadly my percentage score suffered. This individual did not contact me in the first instance as requested, nor did he engage in any restitution plan. So, sorry...for the sake of a speaker of untruths, everyone else is affected.

If you are from outside the UK and wish to purchase, please contact me first.

I will only post by Royal Mail 1st Class signed for as a minimum, but will increase postage/insurance, which I will bear, if hammer price requires. This item though would be best as a pick up, or meet up somewhere...

I will not use any of the nefarious carriers that appear so popular these days....They are only popular to me when I want a parcel lost, opened in transit or kicked to death. Which is of course never in a million years!!!
