Art Nouveau Picture Frame

c. 1910's, Gold Plated Brass

This beautiful picture frame has a lovely lily & caladium leaf motif . The design is very Art Nouveau, with flowing lines inspired by nature. The frame can be used standing or hanging. We believe it is gold plated based on the mark on the back of the frame: AMW Guaranteed 24 KI Gold Plated. The overall size is 5.25 by 7 inches, the frame opening is approx. 3.25 by 4.75 inches, while the back slide in area is approx. 4 by 5.5 inches.

Very nice original condition, no glass, some wear to finish, see photos.
