the Praktica PL (Pentacon loading) nova 1 was a fully mechanical camera made between 1967 and 1972.  It was also sold as the Hanimex Praktica Nova 1.  It was a major advance for Parktica ta the tiome with a redesigned non-rotating shutter speed dial with speeds from 1 to 1/500 second.

This one is in really lovely vintage condition.  No major signs of use at all.  It works, but the shutter needs servicing to get all the speeds up and running.  The mirror and hutter seem best at the higher speeds.  1/125 seems more like 1/4 but 1/60 is fine.  A mysterious thing but I'm sure a camera mechanic could sort it in no time,

Comes with a lovely leather case, a Zeiss Tessar 50mm f/2 lens which is in great clean condition.  Also a modern lens cap just to protect it.  A perfectly collectible camera in great condition but it needs a service to get it back into taking great pictures again.
