1951 Conn Pan American, s/n 119002. The Pan American was Conn's student or intermediate line of instruments, but it still has the sound and feel of a good 10M. The tone is lush and dark just as you'd expect of a vintage Conn.

This sax is in need of repairs before it's playable. The octave key mechanism needs adjustment, and the neck cork needs to be replaced. The pads are old and not sealing well. However, I can still get around on the horn to get a sense of the sound and feel. This would be a good candidate for a repad. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe that the sax may have its original lacquer. The bell has some overspray lacquer near the logo, but the rest appears to be original.

This sax is being sold in as-is unplayable condition. However, US buyers are free to return the sax for any reason, provided you pay shipping and insurance both ways. The sax must be returned in its original condition.
