This rare model 10 royal typewriter is one of a kind. I actually had to do some digging before finally learning why this typewriter was different from all the rest. This version of the royal 10 was issued directly to the United States army during ww2. The entire typewriter was painted over olive Drab Green including the two glass ports one either side of the typewriter. They then stamped their logo on afterwards. The model number on the back of the typewriter is x-1095aa7

It does have general ware. Some of the green paint is chipped away revealing the black metal underneath. All the keys and levers function however a majority of the keys are stiff and must be manually pulled back after striking the ink ribbon.

This is pretty much a royal 10 but military issued.
