- Can I use the Gen 3 Wall connector to charge a non-Tesla vehicle?
If the vehicle has the same connector, it will charge your car. - Can I use the Tesla app if I use a non-Tesla vehicle?
You can use the app to monitor the energy used, but it can't monitor the car. - Can I adjust the amperes?
If the car supports that feature, yes it can adjust the amperes. - Can the Gen 3 Wall connector link to the solar system?
Your solar can power the Gen 3 Wall connector, but the installation needs to factor that in so that it takes power from your solar.
Charge on Solar is a feature from Tesla where you can switch between grid power and charge from solar, but it is not yet available in Australia.

SPEED
Wall Connector can provide up to 11 kW output. For Tesla vehicles, Wall Connector provides up to 75 kilometers of range per hour of charge. For non-Tesla vehicles, refer to your vehicle manufacturer’s guidance to determine your charging speed.
VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY
Wall Connector is compatible with most electric vehicles including Tesla vehicles and non-Tesla electric vehicles. Make sure the Wall Connector you are purchasing has a plug that matches the charging inlet on your electric vehicle.
CONVENIENCE
Wall Connector can adapt to most home electrical systems, with customizable power levels on a range of circuit breakers. This versatility allows installation in most homes, apartments, condos and workplaces. The lightweight 7.3 meter cable allows the Mobile Connector to be left in the vehicle.
TESLA APP
Set up your Wall Connector in the Tesla app and connect it to a local Wi-Fi network to control, schedule and get data on your Wall Connector. Firmware updates will be automatically sent to the Wall Connector to improve the user experience and introduce new features.
WARRANTY
The warranty for normal residential use of a Wall Connector covers your Wall Connector for a period of 48 months from the date of invoice. The warranty for normal commercial use of a Wall Connector covers your Wall Connector for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice.
