Hardwood timber weather bar, designed with weather protection to compliment your wooden doors. Our Weather Bars are manufactured from quality FSC certified sustainable Hardwood timbers and will provide well needed protection from the weather for external doors in exposed locations. Used correctly then this little wonder can add years of life to your door and also acts a nice finishing feature.
A Weather Bar can be fitted to most exterior wooden doors, and is supplied in a length of 900mm that is long enough for the majority of standard size doors and can be easily cut to size you require, the other dimensions are 60mm x 35mm.
This design is fully reversible and with the advancements of fixing solutions it is extremely easy to fit using a great quality Gripfill, No nails, Stick like Sh*t or any good instant grab adhesive, saving time money and the risk of splitting, damaging or marking the door or bar. However the traditional screw fix method is still the prefered method used by many trades persons.
It is supplied unfinished meaning you can use what ever you like to finish it, whether this be Paint, Stain, Varnish, Wax or Oil. Even though this is made from Hardwood durable and hard wearing it performs a whole lot better when treated and sealed with a good quality treatment.
The image you see is a piece taken from stock at random. Due to the hardness of some timber species, some sanding may be required. Please study the images which are representative of the product and the general colours of each timber species shades and grain structure will vary from piece to piece sadly this can not be avoided as it is a natural product so please do not be alarmed if what you receive is a slightly different look to the ones in the picture, every one will be different!

PLEASE NOTE: Timber is a natural product and is hydroscopic. Throughout its life it will hold and release moisture. This can cause cupping, warping and movement with all timber products. With our best efforts we store all products in an environment to prevent this occurrence. Please bare in mind that all our sizes are representative and may vary by up to +/- 3mm, this does not normally make a difference but please check with us if the exact size is critical.
A VAT invoice can be supplied but is not included automatically. Please add your email address to the order via the 'add message' at checkout stage and it will be emailed to you. if you don't have a printer please advise in the same message for one to be included with the purchase.
The price only covers delivery to locations within U.K. Mainland Zone 1. Orders placed for addresses not in Zone 1 will be cancelled.
