Information card enclosed about Alexandra Palace. This was named after the consort Of Edward, Prince Of Wales who later became Edward V11. It was built in 1873 as the north London rival to the Crystal Palace but burnt down 16 days after it was completed. It was rebuilt and the second palace opened 2 years later in 1875 and is featured on the 20p stamp.

In 1990 it was the home of The International Stamp Exhibition.
