A fantastic antique set of shop scales. Marked by the maker, Avery. W & T Avery was founded in 1818. They are a famous renowned maker of weighting scales. This example dates from the first part of the 20th Century. It would have been used in a grocery shop for weighing fruit and vegetables. It is the most stunning green enamel and is complete with original stainless steel pan and cast iron weights.  

Condition

Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
