Here we have a beautiful and very original vintage Rogers Dynasonic snare drum

From the 1970s, Big R badge.

Serial numbers D601244,USA production. The good stuff!

The drum is in excellent condition.

No missing or broken parts. Original clock face throw off/strainer, original butt plate, original Beavertail lugs, original internal tone control muffler and external muffler control dial. Very clean chrome finish. No non original holes.  A few areas of very light shell surface wear, hardly noticeable in my opinion. Shell interior and bearing edges are excellent. Very presentable overall condition, pride of ownership.

The drum comes with its original snare wire rail bracket and snare wires -- items often missing on these vintage Dynasonic drums.

Coated batter head and original Rogers clear resonate head, both in very good condition. 

The drum tunes up nicely, holds its tune and delivers that crisp, resonate tone and wide tuning range that you would expect for a quality American-made vintage drum. The brass shell produces a warmer, less metallic tone compared to steel a d aluminum-shell drums.
