One of three consecutive being offered tonight

Kilpatrick Bros. & Collins was a contracting firm working for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad, supplying coal for locomotive fuel. This company store scrip was in use circa 1897. It was apparently replaced a decade later by Cambria Trading Company who issued similar scrip. This store scrip is printed in black by Gast St. Louis, which printed many Western state scrip notes. A miner is at the center in a circle, and the "Not Intended to be Used as Money" clause is in the bottom half of the outer ring. The ornate back shows a vast mining operation with counters at the side. Choices for obsolete notes from Wyoming are extremely limited.

I do combine shipping for multiple items won: 50% discount for each item after the first and FREE shipping when 5 or more items are won.

I will be listing many notes this weekend, be sure to check out my other listings.
