YAMAHA YFG-811

Description

This model is before the balancer was installed. A music shop friend told me that YAMAHA's custom class instruments are rather superior to the old ones due to factory downsizing, cost reduction due to model changes, depletion of excellent raw materials, and retirement of skilled craftsmen. Since the original hard case has a broken handle, a just right size Altieri case cover that can be used as a backpack is included.

Yamaha began producing double reed instruments in the 1970s at the request of the Vienna State Opera Orchestra, when it began developing brass, oboe, and bassoon vocals. 7,000, 8,000, and 11,000 Heckels were studied, and after only six years, the YFG811 was introduced, followed by the YFG 812 and the low-priced YFG411 (out of print). Yamaha has now made inroads into the stronghold of Haeckel, which until now held an overwhelming share of the world's leading orchestras that use German-style bassoons.

Yamaha's over 100 years of technology has been lavishly incorporated into this custom model, which is sure to satisfy even the most demanding professional players. In addition to perfect pitch, the wide range of expression is appealing.
