P2000T 64 kb Memory Expansion

This circuit board is a 64kb memory expansion for the P2000T, which can be directly connected to the 40-pin header on the motherboard. Normally, the P2000T has only 16kb of memory, but with this expansion, an additional 64kb is added, giving you a total of 80kb of memory.

Technical details:

• With this memory expansion, you can write 16kb to address 0xA000-0xDFFF. The remaining 48kb is available at address 0xE000-0xFFFF via bank switching.
  
• By writing a number 0x00-0x05 to I/O port 0x94, you can switch banks. The current value of the bank register can also be read from the same port.
  
• The memory board only uses I/O port 0x94, leaving other ports available for your use.
  
• For the installation of this memory board, two additional cables need to be installed from the power board to the PCB. This is a relatively simple operation but requires some experience with soldering. A instruction manual how to perform this minor task is available.
  
• The memory expansion contains a diode for reverse polarity protection.
• All chips are modern low-power chips, putting minimal strain on the power supply.

Please note:

The seller is not responsible for any defects to the P2000T as the result of the installation of the memory expansion. Before powering on the P2000T, carefully check that the different voltage rails are isolated with respect to each other. The memory expansion unit is extensively tested in advance on a stock P2000T.
