The claim is located in an extremely great gold bearing area on a portion of Indian Creek in Plumas County, Ca.  Plumas County is a very friendly mining county and much easier to set up small or medium mining operations washing operations.  High banking reclamation dredging & sluicing on this claim will produce some really nice gold and nuggets. With the huge gravel bar on the 90 degree bend washing operations will excel with a small trommel, backhoe, reclamation dredges and big high bankers. Seriously i would estimate thousands of ounces on this claim at least. Everything on this claim makes sense, old JURA channel crossing, Little Grizzly Creek feeding it from old channel deposits, plus Indian Creek coming from the old channel placers, man doesn't get any better than this. If you want to run a small scale placer operation with a backhoe and trommel this is a great opportunity. There is some exposed bedrock areas and large boulders to prospect in and around that will produce nicely.  Another awesome advantage on the claim is that the Ancient Jura River crossed Indian Creek directly on or near this claim.  The facts are this claim is located on Indian Creek in a spot where all the gold feeders are just above or on this claim. This extremely nice placer claim is nestled in a gorgeous setting in between the small friendly towns of Taylorsville & Genesee. The Indian Valley mainly consist of loggers, ranchers, miner's and fabulous recreation opportunities. Just minutes from the claim and only about 10 miles is beautiful Antelope Lake which offers boating, water skiing, bass, trout and amazing channel cats. Taylor Lake is also only a few minuets away and is a beautiful pristine lake with brookies and rainbows. Now to the gold claim. Indian Creek is a well known gold bearing creek by locals in these parts. I know several years ago some dredgers were getting close to an ounce a day on this creek. That's incredible for any stream in the Sierra's. Most of the placer gold came from the Ancient Jura River. This ancient stream was much older than those in the mother lode but produced a ton of gold. Not much work has been done on the Jura because it is much higher in elevation than those of the mother lode, therefore trying to get water pressure to hydraulic was next to impossible. The Jura Channel is one of Northeastern California's best kept gold secrets, an untapped resource to say the least. The Jura placer claim sits right in it's path therefore is extremely rich.   The claim setting is very secluded of a paved road. You can reach a secluded creek side campsite with heavy equipment, travel trailers, rv's, etc. Plumas National Forest is one of the easier Forests to work & permit mining operations  in California regarding permitting and larger operations.
