This is for the serious ink man or woman . Whom has use of a fabulous fountain pen . Whom writes by hand . Or for Those that adore using writing furniture .

Takes the form of a booklet . Tartan ware front face . Inner heavily brocaded paper inners with some blotting pages . Used . To the rear back face . Again heavy lining and to the rear face papier mâché , lacquered .. shellac .. tight . Shiny . I would say almost waterproofed , original high polish finish , to repel liquids etc .. Used showing minor signs of distress , still in very useable condition .

And not so precious .. as never to touch or use ..

I have photographed all areas I think necessary .. minor use or dints will be apparent . And expected . Some restorative gluing may be needed to spine , and so to remain in present , stable condition .

Personally I wouldn’t bother , As a Desk accessory .. nice to see .. heritage .. speaks volumes . USEFUL !
