Unfinished PROJECT due to ill heath/loss of storage. Started building this 55 consul to be a street car, the idea was to fit jag v6 3lt from an S Type which is a Duratec 265bhp 5 speed manual which is included in the sale. I've fitted new front coilovers with adjustable A arms, Ford Escort steering rack, MI16 brake callipers.
Main body is very rust free, sills are original including the inners, 4 new custom made floor pan's in 1.5 m steel. Front chassie legs are boxed with 2m steel plate and then joined from bulkhead back to rear chassis. Drivers side doors have had lower door skins f thou passenger side doors will need to be done,miner repairs needed in boot floor/mods to accommodate fuel cell and battery .rear axle will need to be replaced was going to go mgb route but never got that far. Engine /box has been fitted then removed, but any motor would fit as seen many v8s in a Consul engine bay.
Solid project for someone, £2500 ono.
