I purchased this off of eBay a few years ago as the drawer did not open. I fixed the drawer mechanism as it needed a good cleaning and relube of the gears. Once that was fixed I unfortunately found out that the player simply does not play eiher CDs or Laserdiscs. The player will accept the disc, the transport will move attempting to read the disc but fail in doing so. Because of that, it is sold AS-IS.
