Vintage Fleurs des Siecles Enamel Flowers by Jane Hutcheson for Gorham. These beautifully crafted blooms sit in a square lucite vase circa 1970's. Stands approx 7.5" tall and 8" across (leaf span from one side to the other).


The Backstory: Fleurs des Siecles by Jane Hutcheson (1920-2014) were created from the early 1970’s to the mid 1980’s, with an original price range of $60 to $450. The arrangements were enameled by hand and put over gold plate by women trained by Mrs. Hutcheson herself. These unique arrangements were placed in sterling and gold plated cachepots, Murano glass domes, Lucite cubes (like this one), reproduction antique porcelain vases and a fine quality woven gold vermeil baskets produced exclusively for Cartier. Her work is prized today by collectors and were originally sold through high end gift (Marshall Fields) and jewelry stores (Shreve & Co) in the States as well as Japan.
