Initially they have a happy marriage despite getting married at a very young age and having low income. Years later, their happy marriage starts crumbling when 37-year-old Da-jung files for divorce and their 18-year-old twins start ignoring Dae-young except for pocket money. Furthermore, Dae-young's life turns more miserable when he loses his job, after his boss promotes his nephew who works in the company only for 4 years while relocating Dae-young to Busan. Shortly after these happened, Dae-young's 37-year-old body changes back to the body he had when he was 18 years old (Lee Do-hyun) but retains his 37-year-old mentality. He starts living a new life under a new identity as an 18-year-old boy and attends his twins' school, which he and Da-jung attended before. During his life as an 18-year-old, he eventually learns that his daughter is working part time in a convenience store without his permission, and his son is being bullied at school by Goo Ja-sung (Hwang In-yeop). He realizes that he changes a lot lately and becoming strained to his family that makes their marriage crumbles, with worsening family communication. Initially, he wants new life with the new identity, but after realizing what happened with his family, he decided to use this chance to protect his kids (especially his bullied son) and do his best to be more present to the family, despite his appearance as an 18-year-old boy.
