Maker: This beautiful cabinet or cake plate has a green and red wreath back stamp of the iconic maker RS Prussia, the company founded by Germany's Reinhold Schlegelmilch.
Authentication: The RS Prussia wreath mark is one of the world's most copied porcelain back stamps. Although this plate appears in every respect to be genuine RS Prussia, it has not been authenticated.
Design: The fine porcelain plate is in a typically gorgeous RSP mold, number 151. Its muted colors and nine beautiful pale pink roses make it even lovelier.
Condition: The plate is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, stains, repairs or significant wear. There is light wear to the edge points, a few white spots and a few faint scratches, and dark spots on the underside rim - these can be seen in the photos.
Size: The plate is 11 1/4 inches wide at the center and 12 inches wide between the far ends of the handles. It weighs 1 pound 2 ounces.
