This Seiko Divers 200m Automatic Black Rubber Strap Men’s Watch is a classic piece of aquatic wristwear, with its stunning range of diving-specific features being offered at unparalleled level of value and construction quality. Beginning at the center, a sleek black dial host a Seiko logo at the 12 o’clock position with a day and date window replacing the 3 o’clock position. To aid the thrill seekers amongst us, the hands and indexes are coated in luminscent so that you can see at the dark depths of the ocean and sea. A black bezel sits on a stainless steel case with the dial being further protected by hardlex crystal glass. To continue the sleek black theme, a black rubber strap sits fittingly around ones wrist, fastened by a buckle clasp.

This timepiece has a water resistance of 200 metres, meaning it can be used for recreational scuba diving.

They incorporate simplicity, but seriousness. The name of the Seiko 5 derives from its five key attributes, which Seiko promised to include in every watch that belonged to the family. They are: automatic winding, displaying the day and date in a single window, water resistance, a recessed crown at the 4 o’clock position and a durable metal bracelet.

1963 marked the year that the Seiko 5 acted as a catalyst in the horological revolution in automatic watchmaking. Even after being in the market for over 50 years, albeit the Seiko 5 still remains as cool and relevant as ever. Though this serves as proof that expert craftsmanship and elegant design will never go out of fashion.

The Brand: SeikoCeaseless determination to innovate in every aspect of the watchmaker’s art is what defines Seiko’s 135-year history. By embracing this ethos, Seiko has been responsible for a string of industry-leading advances in the technology of time. Notably, the creation of the world’s first quartz watch in 1969. Or equally impressive the creation of the world’s first TV watch in 1982. And even more relevant today, with our abhorrent use of non-renewable energy sources, Seiko’s Kinetic. The listed technological developments serve as evidence to illustrate the revolutionary impact which Seiko has had on the watchmaking world. They are also remarkably unique in that they manufacture every aspect of every watch in-house.
