Produced 1879, this is the earliest stem wind watch I have seen!

Was probably a fancy thing to show off to your mates in the day.

Forums call it a 'Convertible' movement.

Came in 7 jeweled and 13 jeweled varieties and 14s and 16s sizes.

This is a 16s and looks like the 13 jeweled version.

This watch is 145 years old and looks mint!

Crystal has scratches or cracks.

Dial is in pristine condition!

Amazingly embossed case has no scratches or dents and the gold fill is completely intact!

You don't throw the word 'unique' around lightly in the watch community,

but this one certainly is that!
