Vintage "Naken" Wooden Flatware Storage Chest with Bottom Drawer for Larger Serving Pieces

 This high quality "Dovetailed" wooden case was produced by the famous Naken Co. to hold Sterling or Silverplate flatware, designed for a service of 12 plus serving pieces.    The case exterior has a great vintage look with indents and  surface scratches, most likely from past "closet" or "buffet drawer" storage. The wood is a rich dark brown. 

The BEST aspect of this vintage case is it's lovely interior with no rips, stains or odors.  This case has 12 slots in the lid for dinner knives and the inside has 10 deep slots. There is a matching wooden long knob handle on the front of the case.  There are brass handles on either side of the case plus a brass plate on the top of the case that has not ever been inscribed. A big plus! Two brass hinges on the back of the case for opening the lid. Yes it was made to last forever. 

When you open the lid the original fancy Naken's Tarnish Proof Silverware Chest emblem is in wonderful condition.  The original brochure is also included. Wow. 

This great vintage case would make a wonderful safe home for your treasured flatware pieces.  This piece weighs 5 pounds, 13 ounces empty.
