Really beautiful set of cobalt porcelain. Long serving plate is richly decorated with gilding and has a handpainted image of dragon in Chinese style. Tea trios also have lavish gilded patterns, which resemble ship stern and dandelions.
Mark on plate belongs to thuringian porcelain manufacture Weimar Porzellan, which exists untill today! It was founded in 1790 by Christian A. W. Speck who discovered nearby material eligible for manufacturing porcelain. Since 1840s it had been a part of Fasold and Eichel family enterprises, then Carstens family. In 1948 the manufacture was nationalized and renamed Weimar. Its porcelain sets were awarded numerous times while Leipzig Fairs.

Tea trios have marks of Lichte, Thuringian porcelain manufacturer. It was founded in 1822 by Johannes Heirich Leder. Participation on World Fairs in Paris 1900 and Saint Louis 1904 made manufactory popular. Since 1900s Lichte concentrated its production on porcelain figurine. Soon it was sold to Friedrich family, who had Lichte in possession until 1948, when company was nationalized. In 1991 Friedrich family got an onwership back, but wasn't able to modernize and continue porcelain production. In 2012 Lichte porcelain manufacture was closed. There is a big collection of Lichte porcelain in Otto Ludwigs Museum in Eisfeld.
The condition of all items is excellent, with some traces of age and usage, small loses of gilding, age stains on gilding.
