Set of lovely German porcelain figurines
1. Figurine of a man in rich clothes. Made by Dressel, Kister & Co from Passau.The hallmark with crowned L appeared in 1900s, when the business was purchased by Rudolf Lenck. Since that time for around 3 decades the company was governed by Lenck family – Rudolf Lenck, Wilhelm Lenck and Lina Lenck - before joining Älterste Volkstedter Porzellanmanufactur.
Hallmarks: crowned L blue, “i” blue (period 1900-1922)

2. Elegant figurine of a flutist is rich clothes. Most likely made by Thuringian manufacturer Limbach. It was created in 1762 (however, started to work in 1772) by Gotthelf Greiner, well-known rich Thuringian industrialist, who had a relation to a huge amount of regional porcelain manufacturers. Beside high-quality figurines, the factory was also known for its tableware. Limbach manufactory was closed in 1850.Hallmarks: green clover (recognizable traces, period 1787-1850), traces of technical numbers.

Very good condition, with traces of age, age stains. Dressel, Kister & Co figurine has microscopic loses of flowers’ petals. Flutist figurine has small loss of flute’s bottom part (not particularly noticeable), microchips of pedestal. See photos for more details.
