Elegant lovely antique porcelain set of 6 dining plates and one oval plate for starters, of deep blue colour and delicate gilding decoration.

Plates have marks of André François, famous Limoges manufacturer (marks of period 1919-1934; mark "Limoges Unique" was used between 1928-1929 and introduced in order to promote and protect genuine Limoges production). He started as decorator in 1919 and until 1934 he was an owner of numerous Limoges factories like Bawo&Dotter or Seyne. Awarded several times for his achievements, he decorates one of the three vases, called the “Nègre” vase, a copy of which is exhibited at the Adrien Du Bouché museum in Limoges.

The condition is excellent, with traces of age on painting. Starters plate has some loses of glazing on front side (traces of usage), 4 plates have small and microscopic chips and crack.
