Lovely antique porcelain tea set for 4 people, or quartet, decorated with floral pattern. Set includes teapot (really big!), creamer, sugar bowl and 4 tea pairs (duos) of cup and saucer.
Cups have marks (period around 1900-1910; other items are from the set, but have only technical marks) of Ernst Göcke Dresden, a Saxonian elite store of luxury glass and porcelain items. He also had own decorating atelier (where presumably was decorated this set). As a purveor of Saxonian court and Grand Duchy of Oldenburg, Ernst Göcke presented to his customers only distinguished porcelain items. Between 1910-1912 business was acquired by Rudolf Theodor Kästner and Ludwig Paul Ölisch.
The condition is really excellent for its age, with slight traces of age and tiny loses of gilding. Sugar bowl has a microchip on bottom.
