Beautiful drink and dessert set of vintage glass and crystal. Set consists of carafe with handled decorated with spiral pattern, vase-ashtray of free shape, pair of bowl-stands (presumably for spoons), pair of tall glasses for Chartreuse liqueur, 6 small bulb glasses for spirits, 2 glasses and 4 dessert bowls of light-green glass and set of 6 (4+2) water glasses.

Vase-ashtray is signed Daum. In 1878, Jean Daum (1825 – 1885) established the Daum glass and crystal works in Nancy, France. The company quickly gained renown as one of the premier glassworks in Europe, known for its intricate combination of carving, enamelling, and engraving on individual glass pieces, resulting in exquisite decorative works. Following Jean’s passing in 1885, his two sons, Auguste and Antonin, took over the ownership of the glassworks. The Daum brothers emerged as significant figures in the French Art Nouveau movement, standing in competition with the renowned works of Gallé. Following Gallé's death in 1904, the Daum brothers assumed leadership in the realm of decorative glass. Daum remains the sole commercial crystal manufacturer that utilizes the pâte de verre ('glass paste') technique for creating glass and crystal sculptures, upholding the company's reputation for excellence and high-quality design.

Stands have Baccarat marks. Baccarat is a renown glassware producer with a rich history dating back to 1765 when it was founded in Baccarat, France. Initially, the company focused on producing soda glass for windows, tableware, and industrial purposes. However, in 1817, it was acquired by a Belgian manufacturer of lead crystal, after which Baccarat shifted its specialization to this type of glass. In 1823, the company achieved a significant milestone by winning its first gold medal in an international glass exposition, and its participation in the 1925 Exposition des Arts Decoratifs contributed to shaping the Art Deco style. Notably, Baccarat has produced artistically significant pieces, including works by Émile Gallé. In 1846, Baccarat expanded its production to include paperweights. Despite showcasing various techniques of ornamental glassmaking such as millefiori, cameo, sculpture, engraving, and casings, Baccarat's paperweights were relatively affordable, making them popular among collectors. Today, Baccarat continues to manufacture a wide range of tableware in historical patterns, carrying on its legacy of craftsmanship and artistry.

Chartreuse is a French herbal liqueur that comes in green and yellow variations, each with its own distinct taste and alcohol content. The Carthusian monks have been producing this liqueur since 1737, following the instructions outlined in a manuscript gifted to them by François Annibal d'Estrées in 1605. The name "Chartreuse" is derived from the Grande Chartreuse monastery, where the monks reside, situated in the Chartreuse Mountains to the north of Grenoble. Presently, the liqueur is manufactured in their distillery in the nearby town of Aiguenoire. It is crafted from distilled alcohol that is infused with 130 different herbs, plants, and flowers, among which cinnamon, mace, lemon balm, dried hyssop flower tops, peppermint, thyme, costmary, arnica flowers, genepi, and angelica roots.
