1. Realistic figurine of sweeper boy with dog. Made by famous Thuringian manufacturer, hereditary porcelain maker Karl Ens. Hallmarks: KE dark-blue, technical numbers cut. His father, Karl Ens the Elder, founded own manufactory in 1860. Karl-son opened his own factory in 1899 and quicky gained a reputation of high-quality items manufacturer. Since 1919 the manufactory had been run by one of sons, Karl. In 1972 the company was nationalized and merged with other well-known German porcelain producer Sitzendorf. Height 20.5 cm/ 8.07 in2. Figurine of a boy in bright clothes. Made by Dressel, Kister & Co from Passau. The hallmark with crowned L appeared in 1900s, when the business was purchased by Rudolf Lenck. Since that time for around 3 decades the company was governed by Lenck family – Rudolf Lenck, Wilhelm Lenck and Lina Lenck - before joining Älterste Volkstedter Porzellanmanufactur.
