Set of lovely antqiur porcelain putti figurines.
1. Figurine with jouful playing puttis. Made by famous Thuringian manufacturer Scheibe Alsbach.The company began its activity in 1835 as decoration and painting atelier. Later, after the issues of wood supplies were solved, the manufacture was able to produce porcelain pieces and throughout years became famous for animal and historical figurines. In 1990s company merged with Tettau, a part of Christian Seltmann Group.
Hallmarks: crossed S blue, technical number cut (period 1925-1972).

2. Sculpturesque figurines of putti with flowers and grapes sitting on gilded column. Antique work by famous Volkstedt manufacture from Rudolstadt in Thuringia. Founded in 1762, it is the oldest porcelain manufacture in Thuringia. Known for its gorgeous sculptures and application of various complicated techniques while creating. The manufacture exists today.Hallmark: blue R (period 1804-1815).

Excellent condition, with traces of age, age stains. Scheibe Alsbach figurine has
small lose of flower's petal, traces of antique restoration on putti's back and microchip on the back of the head (see photos). Volkstedt figurines have
microscopic chips on pedestal and putti's crimson cloak, small loses of leaves and petals. See photos for more details.
