Really nice dessert set of 3 items in similar style and floral pattern: cream bowl on console-like legs and openwork inserts, small bowl to it and tea trio (cup, saucer and plate).
Marks on cream bowl and small bowl dated mid-20th century and belong to Bavarian porcelain manufacturer Lindner. Ernst Lindner, who worked for Edelstein factory, in 1928 opened his factory. At the beginning he sold Edelstein models, but sooner started to introduce own small porcelain items, later beautiful dinner sets in Thuringian and Saxonian styles. In 2000s company purchased many models of Gerold Porzellan Tettau and Royal Küps. Nowadays Lindner company is onwed by Rüdiger Wachter.
Tea trio has Rosenthal marks: "Rosenthal Selb-Germany" was put by the manufacturer in 1934, the model name of the product is "Pompadour".
Rosenthal is one of the most famous German porcelain manufactory. Philip Rosenthal created his own, subsequently, world-famous manufactory in 1879 in Selb-Plesberg, municipality of the city of Selb in Bavaria. Rosenthal is also known for collaborating with renowned artists Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol. Rosenthal is also known for the long-lasting collaboration with iconic fashion brands.
