Notes: You are bidding on a Seiko Two Tone SBQJ002 8F56-001A GMT Perpetual World Time High Accuracy Quartz Watch with Full Bracelet. Based on the serial, this one dates to August 1998. I believe this watch was also released for export as SLT002P1 with model 8F56-0019 on the caseback. This watch houses a Cal. 8F56 features a perpetual calendar quartz movement accurate to 20 seconds per year. For setting instructions you can check the Youtube video on how to reset it, but any watchmaker can properly change the battery when it indicates it is running low by skipping seconds to avoid the reset; the perpetual calender needs no setting other than daylight savings. This watch is in excellent shape; no cracks/scratches on the mineral crystal and bullet manifier. Minimal scratches on the case with and screwdown caseback. Lume is good strength and the unique space-age dial and hands are in excellent condition. Gold plated screwdown crown is in excellent shape and secures well. Date change occurs properly in mid-crown position by changing the hour hand; this moves a cool ultrasonic motor that drives the date wheel. GMT marker rotates properly with crown fully pulled out. Battery was changed within the last 2 months and the watch has been properly set; should last another 8-10 years. Water resistance is 100m but the watch has not been pressure tested. The custom two-tone 4858-G-I 22mm/15mm bracelet is sized for a 7.5 inches wrist with no microadjustments available; there are 2 extra links for a full bracelet set. This is a pretty uncommon export model 8F56 watch with a very unique design as I believe it's the only 8F56 model series with an external GMT world time bezel. Don't miss out on the space-age beauty!
