I have now retired and moved to Thailand and will be selling off my collections of Sports Photos, Memorabilia and Autographs. Literally I have been collecting these for over 30 years at NASCAR events, Sports Card Shows, Sporting Events, BCEFA Flea Market & Grand Auction and the like. All of my autographed Items I obtained personally unless otherwise noted. Shipping will be done through Thai Post and ALL will have a Tracking Number that I will list on Ebay and send you. Any questions feel free to message me. I have been selling on Ebay, off and on, since 1998 and I will ALWAYS provide positive feedback and hope you will do likewise. My goal is to keep my perfect feedback score and get you your item.

This auction is for a Sporting News Original Trimmed Photo of Boston Braves  Hall of Famer Manger Billy Southworth and Pitcher Red Barrett.

Billy played for the Cleveland Indians (1913, 1915), Pittsburgh Pirates (1918–1920), Boston Braves (1921–1923), New York Giants (1924–1926) and St. Louis Cardinals (1926–1927, 1929). He then embarked on a Managerial career with the St. Louis Cardinals (1929, 1940–1945) and then the Boston Braves (1946–1949, 1950–1951). He was a 3× World Series Champion (1926, 1942, 1944).He was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2008.

Red Barrett Pitched 11 Years in the Majors for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Braves and St. Louis Cardinals. He is best known for pitching the shortest complete game by fewest pitches (58) in history.

On August 10, 1944, throwing for the Boston Braves against his former team the Cincinnati Reds, Barrett pitched a 2–0 shutout at Crosley Field. He faced 29 batters (two more than the minimum, having surrendered two hits, walked no one and struck out no one, with no defensive errors behind him), setting a complete game (and a nine-inning game) record by throwing only 58 pitches, an average of exactly two pitches per batter. It was also the shortest night game in history, and the shortest road-team win in history, lasting just 1 hour and 15 minutes. The game was umpired behind home plate by the noted umpire Jocko Conlan.

This photo is from the 1947 - 1949 seasons when Billy and Red were both with the Braves.
