This is a billet aluminum fitting for the FE Ford intake manifolds. This fitting is machine to precision on a CNC lathe that allows for easy insulation using an allan hex. We use this fitting on Ford FE manifolds that our customers wish to upgrade.

Simple installation suggestions:

1) Drill out old corroded press-in fitting.

2) Apply tapping fluid and tap (using 3/8” pipe tap), as you’re tapping make sure to remove the tap multiple times during the process and check fitment as to ensure you do not tap too deep.

3) Clean.

4) Choose your preferred retaining/sealing compound, apply and install!

Though these steps may seem easy and practical to most, not everybody is mechanically incline; In which we suggest grabbing some help from a buddy who’s familiar with the process or take it to any garage shop.
