RARE American Apparel Thermochromic Heat Activated Color Changing T-Shirt XS

This listing is for a RARE Authentic American Apparel Thermochromic Heat-Activated Color-Changing Unisex Jersey T-Shirt in a size Extra Small (XS) made up 100% combined cotton. It is in great, pre-owned condition with no visable defects. The shirt is blue but changes to white in areas that are warm/hot. The tee is made with a thermochromic (temperature sensitive) pigment that changes between two colors – one when cool, one when warm. These became popular in the 1980s when Generra Sportswear Company of Seattle released them as “Hypercolor” of “Hypergrafix” shirts, shorts, and dresses. American Apparel re-released this style in 2008 – 2009 for a short-lived fad, which are now all discontinued. You can read more about hypercolored apparel via this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypercolor. You will not find this rare, old-school style shirt anywhere else!!

·      Care: MACHINE WASH COLD. HANG TO DRY. Note: The color-changing effect can easily be permanently damaged when washing in hotter than recommended water, ironed, bleached, or tumble-dried.

• I inspect all items as thoroughly as possible before listing them to check for any visible signs of damage, etc. If I notice any imperfections, I will make note of it and be as specific as possible in the listing description, as well as include pictures to show the problem(s).
• For any additional questions/concerns, or if you would like for me to send you additional pictures of an item, please do not hesitate to MESSAGE ME THROUGH EBAY BEFORE BIDDING. I will respond to all messages within 48 hours during business days. 
• To save on shipping costs, I will use the minimal amount of packaging that is necessary (if any), depending on what the item is. I try to reuse packaging materials (i.e., bubble wrap, tissue paper, plastic baggies, packaging peanuts, shipping boxes, etc.) as often as possible so that I can keep my prices and fees low. If you want for me to package your item more securely, you MUST message me before you pay for the item so that I can recalculate your shipping! Remember that I am NOT responsible for any damages that may occur during the shipping/handling process. 
• If you win more than one item and would like for me to combine them, then please message me BEFORE you pay so that I can recalculate the shipping and send you a new invoice!
